I work with nonprofit organizations, small businesses, and startups on internal challenges and special projects that center around intentional culture, community building, and communication. I’m a valuable thought partner and advisor, but I also recognize that the limited internal capacity of many organizations often stands in the way of implementing improvements and pursuing new ideas. For that reason, I often take an active role in creation, management, and implementation.

I believe that all projects deserve to be approached with moxie and craftsmanship. I appreciate opportunities to oversee ventures with multiple moving components because I am adept at seeing both the forest and the trees. I bring enthusiasm, creativity, and tenacity to the table and take pride in polished results.

I would love to connect with you to learn about your unique challenges and discuss how we can collaborate to find solutions! Click here to learn more about me, Erin McCann. I look forward to learning more about you as well!

  • Erin McCann Consulting is dedicated to helping organizations see themselves as holistic communities and explore ways to increase their effectiveness through strengthening relationships. To accomplish this, Erin offers organizations personalized solutions to challenges that are rooted in the nuances of human experience and group dynamics.

  • I work with a variety of organizations: nonprofits, small businesses, professional corporations, and startups. While their size, structure, and work varies greatly, they do have one thing in common: All of these organizations have a challenge or goal that requires an understanding of people and relationships. I’m a big fan of any organization that does good work and recognizes the value of investing in their community, and I’m genuinely energized by the opportunity to support them.

  • If it involves people, relationships, and attention to details, there is a good chance that I’m in. As it says in my mission statement, I offer organizations personalized solutions to challenges that are rooted in the nuances of human experience and group dynamics.

    This includes…

    • Project and people management
    • Communication planning
    • Event planning and facilitation
    • Appreciation and intentional culture
    • Physical space as a tool for culture
    • Process and language design
    • Coaching & consultation
    • Copy writing and editing

  • Because my clients and their needs vary so greatly, there isn’t a set pricing structure that encapsulates everything. Projects generally fall into two categories:

    1. Contracts: Most projects require a contract that includes an agreed upon flat rate for compensation. My goal is to offer organizations the support they need, which means that each contract is uniquely personalized and finalized collaboratively. We can schedule a discovery session to get the ball rolling.

    2. Consultations: In some instances, the challenge can best be tackled through conversation. If you need advice or just to brainstorm with someone who gets it, let’s schedule a consultation call or meeting. I will invoice you after fact at a rate of $25 per 15 minutes of consultation. Email me to set up a consultation call or meeting.

  • A discovery session is a scheduled call or meeting during which we get to know each other. We may spend up to 30 minutes discussing your challenges and goals in order to determine whether or not there are ways in which I can support you as an advisor, thought partner, or doer. If my expertise is a good fit for your needs, we may spend an additional 30 minutes discussing potential solutions and how that support may be structured. After our session, I will send you a follow up email detailing our conversation and laying out my recommendations for how we might work together.

    A discovery session is…

    • A single complementary conversation.
    • A zero pressure opportunity for you to investigate your options.
    • Time for you to fill me in on all of the details.
    • Time for you to ask me questions.

    A discovery session is not…

    • The first of several calls about a topic before a contract is solidified. (Feel free to email me follow up questions if needed.)
    • The window during which we must finalize the details of a commitment. (Let’s digest and hammer out details.)
    • A space to solicit advice. (I’m happy to schedule an hour of paid consultation for that.)

Let’s schedule a discovery session to get the ball rolling.

  • Yes, you can absolutely pick my brain for a few! If you need advice or just to brainstorm with someone who gets it, let’s schedule a consultation call or meeting. I will invoice you after fact at a rate of $25 per 15 minutes of consultation.

    A consultation is…

    • A paid window of time during which you can leverage my expertise to work toward your goals.
    • A conversation. (Sometimes being asked the right questions is more effective than being handed a diagnosis.)

    A consultation is not…

    • Complementary.
    • Automatically a quick fix to your challenge.
    • A project that requires me to do additional advanced research or prep work. (We may need to discuss a more detailed contract for this. Let's plan a discovery session!)
    • A surprise. (You are never going to receive an invoice that you weren’t expecting for a conversation we’ve had.)

Email me to set up a consultation call or meeting.
